What counts as a revision?

A revision pass is one round of changes you ask for after seeing the first version: copy edits, layout tweaks, image swaps, CTA wording, colour adjustments. Not redesigning from scratch.

A revision pass = one round of agreed changes.

After the first version of your rebuild is delivered, you get to ask for changes. That round of changes is a revision pass.

Typical revision-pass changes

  • Copy edits on specific sections (headline, hero, services).
  • Image swaps (e.g. “use this hero photo instead”).
  • Layout tweaks (e.g. “move services above About”).
  • CTA wording or destination changes (call vs quote vs form).
  • Colour or brand adjustments.
  • Adding a page that should have been included from the start.

What is NOT one revision

  • A redesign from scratch (that’s a new project).
  • A new business model or scope (e.g. “actually we want it to be an online shop now”).
  • Endless trickle-feed edits over weeks (batch them into one round).

How it works in practice

You get the first version. You send all your change notes in one go. We apply them. Pro = that’s 1 revision pass. Business = you get to send a second round.

Past the included passes, more changes are still possible — we just quote them separately so the plan price stays fair for everyone.
